Highlights: Stirling storm into uni cup semi finals

University of Stirling scored three goals without reply as they marched into the semi-finals of the British Universities and Colleges Championship cup.

A large crowd gathered at the University of Stirling on Wednesday to watch the students triumph against the University of South Wales in the quarter-finals.

Highlights: 3-0 win

The match was tight to begin with but a quick-fire double from striker Kieran Hall – on 32 and 33 minutes – had Stirling flying at half-time.

As the clock ticked down, midfielder Louis Kennedy added Stirling’s third, lobbing the helpless South Wales goalkeeper.

Stirling will take on Cardiff Metropolitan University in the semi-finals, with the match scheduled for Wednesday 11 March.
