Stirling University will make a six-hour round-trip to kick-start their 2019 Scottish Cup campaign.
For the second consecutive year, the students – who reached the third round of the national cup competition last season – will take on Aberdeenshire side Keith in the opener. The first round match will take place at Kynoch Park, Keith, on Saturday 21 September, with a 3pm kick-off.
Stirling are currently 10th in the Lowland League, while Keith are in ninth place in the Highland League.
In last year’s first round, the University beat the Highland League side 2-1 at Forthbank Stadium, thanks to Blair Lyons and Kieran Hall goals.
Stirling then travelled to Banff, Aberdeenshire, to take on Deveronvale in the second round – again, winning the tie 2-1 – but were knocked out by Elgin in the third round, after being defeated 4-0.
